The Henry County Heritage Center Museum is having a tag sale from 9 am to whenever at 403 West Madison. They have books, vintage items, collectables and miscellaneous.  Some items will be marked with prices and a free will donation will be taken for other items.

The Dover Museum Board of Directors will meet today at 1:30 at the museum in New London.

Salem Old Settlers begins with the ham and bean supper at the shelter house. The carnival will be up and running from 5 to 10 pm. Car Cruise Night will be held from 5 to 8 pm and the band, Lee-Henry Road will entertain from 6 to 9 pm. Salem Old Settlers continues Saturday and Sunday in Salem, Iowa.

Town & Country Days kicks off in Mediapolis at Cartwright Park. Food serving begins at 5 pm, Patrick Noon will entertain at 6 pm followed by the Prince and Princess Contestant introductions at 6:45 pm. The Bill Riley Talent Show will be held at 7 pm. Town & Country Days continues on Saturday.
