The Children’s Discovery Center at the Mt. Pleasant Public Library is open TODAY from 10am – 12pm. The Discovery Center is open on Mondays from 12pm – 2pm, Fridays from 10am – 12pm and every other Saturday from 10am – 12pm! Explore and Discovery at the Children’s Discovery Center, 307 E. The Salem Farmers Market is open from 4:30pm – 7:30pm on the west side of Salem City Park. The farmers market is open on the first and third Friday of the month through September 18!
Line dancing with Tri-State Line Dancing at the Mount Pleasant Moose Lodge from 6-8 pm. Beginner friendly, open to all ages, and a whole lot of fun! Learn 2-3 new dances with open dancing in between. Make new friends and invite your current friends July 24th, 31st, August 7th, and August 14th. $20 for all four classes or $6/class!
Community Blood Drive- ImpactLife will host a community blood drive on 08/07/26 from 08:30 am – 11:00 am at City of Sigourney Offices and at Henry County Health Center from 12:30 pm – 03:00 pm. Donating blood is a simple way to help ensure local hospitals have the lifesaving blood products they need for patients facing surgery, cancer treatments, traumatic injuries, and other medical emergencies. Eligible donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment or walk in if space allows. Every donation can help save lives throughout the region. Click the link to register:
