The Houghton Knights of Columbus Fish Fry is from 5pm – 7:30pm at the KC Hall!  Whole Catfish, Fish Fillets, or Jumbo Shrimp with two sides are on the menu.  Carryout is available by calling 319-469-2641.  The next KC fish fry is scheduled for March 27th!

It’s BINGO Night at the Vet’s Hall in Mt. Pleasant, 300 W. New London Performing Arts is featuring “Little Shop of Horrors”  at 7pm and on Saturday, at 2pm and 7pm at the New London High School Auditorium. This show is based on a book by Howard Ashman and is billed as music, mayhem and monstrous fun!   The show is rated PG-13 and contains mild language, comedic violence, and elements that may not be suitable for younger audiences.

It’s Fish Fry Friday hosted by the St. Alphonsus Knights of Columbus starting at 5:30pm in Manning Hall, 607 S. Jackson Street.  Orders must be called in by 11am on each Friday during the Lenten season.  The menu includes a Fish Fillet dinner (fried or baked), $15 or a Jumbo Breaded Butterfly Shrimp dinner for $15.  All dinners come with a baked potato, baked beans, roll and your choice of applesauce or coleslaw.  Kids 12 & under eat for free with the purchase of an adult meal.  All proceeds from the fish fry go toward scholarships for St. Alphonsus high school seniors.  Dine In or Carry Out:  Tim (319-931-7036), Greg (319-931-5466), Bob (319-931-6781)
