The Rural Restoration Project is hosting a housing forum from 6:30pm – 8pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Pleasant (902 S. Walnut St.) Three speakers will present on housing supply, affordability, and quality.  The public can provide input and ask questions.

The Des Moines County Fair is wrapping up with breakfast this morning from 7-9AM and they are serving Pancakes!   The Market Livestock Auction will begin at 9am.

The Harlan-Lincoln House in Mt. Pleasant has a Keepsake Ornament for $15!  The ornaments are available for sale at 101 W. Broad Street on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 2pm – 4pm.  All proceeds go toward maintenance of the historic Harlan-Lincoln House.
