Iowa Gubernatorial Candidate Rob Sand will speaking and answering questions at a Mt. Pleasant Town Hall Meeting from 3:30pm – 4:30pm. This event, hosted by the Iowa Democratic Party is at the First Presbyterian Church, 902 S. Walnut Street.
Main Street Mt. Pleasant is calling all chefs to sign up for the chili/soup cookoff on Friday, October 3rd in Mt. Pleasant’s Central Park! We’re looking for chefs—professional, amateur, or anyone who loves to cook—to enter the Chili & Soup Challenge at Pints in the Park.
Bring your best recipe and let the crowd decide who goes home with bragging rights (and prizes ).
