The Children’s Discovery Center at the Mt. Pleasant Public Library, 307 E. Monroe Street, is open from 12pm – 2pm!  There is something to discover for children of all ages and it would be a great time to check out a book from the library.  The Children’s Discovery Center is also open on Friday from 10am – 12pm!

The HCHC Diabetes Education Center is holding a FREE prediabetes class from 12pm – 1pm in Suite 25 of the hospital.  This an educational session designed to help prevent the development of type 2 diabetes.

Join the Family Connection of Henry and Washington Counties for Parent Circle from 4pm – 5pm at the Iowa State Extension & Outreach Office at 127 N. Main Street in Mt. Pleasant.  Snacks will be provided and children up to grade 2 are welcome.  The next Parent Circle meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 20th at the Washington Public Library from 4pm – 5pm.
