The City of Mt. Pleasant’s FREE LEAF COLLECTION begins this week!  All leaves must be bagged and placed at the curb on your designated trash day.  Please separate bags of trash from bags of leaves.  This collection is open to all residents so if your trash is picked by a service other than the City, please call City Hall at 319-385-1470.

The Mt. Pleasant School District PTA has opened the WINTER STORE this week!  Order outdoor Panther Gear…MP fleece blankets, MP folding soft seat, MP stadium chair, or a large MP umbrella!   Support our students in comfort at outdoor activities!

The Swedesburg Evangelical Lutheran Church in Swedesburg is presenting an opportunity to learn how to make Ostkaka-a traditional Swedish dish.  Sessions are from 9:00am – 3:00pm in the Parish Hall.  A soup luncheon will be served at noon!  Call or text Ruth Meth: 319-931-5481 or sign up in the church basement!
