Come to the Henry County Health Center for a Diabetes Group Class from 8:30am-2:30pm in Suite 25 to discuss meal planning, exercise, complications, etc. Call Diabetes Education at 319-385-6518 to register by Friday, June 21. The purpose of the program is to provide people who have diabetes and their families the latest information regarding the disease and to help them become aware that diabetes education is a lifelong process. There is a fee, but many insurance plans cover this course. 

 T.T.T. Chapter U of Mt. Union will buss tables at Mt. Pleasant’s Pizza Ranch Restaurant from 5:00pm – 8:00pm.  They are raising money to send girls to summer camp!

The Donnellson Library has fun with chalk at 2:00pm. They will offer more activities everyday at 2:00pm, reading hour at 10:00am on Tuesdays, and Toddler Time at 10:00am on Thursdays through the rest of June and the month of July too!

The Agape Ringers, Chicago’s premier handbell ensemble, will perform in concert at First Presbyterian Church, 902 S Walnut St., Mount Pleasant, IA, on Monday, June 24 at 7:30 PM. The concert is free-will offering, but due to limited seating, tickets will need to be reserved ahead of time from the church office. All are welcome to attend. The Agape Ringers are an auditioned handbell ensemble that perform musical styles ranging from classical to jazz to familiar pop music. The sixteen musicians have a collective ringing experience of over 450 years and perform on 132 bronze Malmark handbells and 73 Malmark Choirchimes.

• 7:00pm – Parade at the same location
