HELP TO OTHERS Holiday Craft & Vendor Show with Lunch!  9:00am- 1:00pm at Manning Hall, St. Alphonsus Church, 607 South Jackson Street in Mt. Pleasant.  Lots of Vendors with plenty of Christmas gifts to choose from!  Hot sandwiches, Soup, Chili & Cinnamon Rolls for Lunch!  SANTA WILL BE THERE!  The mission of “Help to Others” is to assist Henry County individuals who face emergency situations.

You are invited to the November Winfield Area Grateful Gathering (WAGG) hosted at Swedesburg Lutheran Church, 1897 140th Street, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa at 4:00pm! Organist Christopher Arp will feature works by Paul Manz & more at this event which is free and open to the public!  A reception will follow in the church basement, with a free will offering.

The Winter Market & Craft Show features local art, homemade goods, and a variety of items including Christmas decor.  The show is 9:00am – 12:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 902 South Walnut Street in Mt. Pleasant!

All God’s Creatures features a Holiday Open House 11:00am – 4:00pm, 2205 East Washington Street in Mt. Pleasant!  Hot Cocoa & Refreshments, Pet Microchipping-$20, DIY Winter Cat Houses to craft and/or take, Holiday Photo Ops for you and your pet and Merch for sale! (calendars, jewelry, t-shirts, dog sweaters/coats & more!)

KIDSYMPHONY!  “Peter and the Wolf” is a concert for families and is bigger & better than ever!  This 45 minute concert features music from Star Wars & Disney’s Encanto.  Fun, interactive and educational!  Tickets are $5 for adults-Kids are FREE!  The show starts at 2:00pm at the First United Methodist Church, 309 North Main Street in Mt. Pleasant!

The Swedesburg Evangelical Lutheran Church in Swedesburg is presenting an opportunity to learn how to make Ostkaka-a traditional Swedish dish.  Sessions are from 9:00am – 3:00pm in the Parish Hall.  A soup luncheon will be served at noon!  Call or text Ruth Meth: 319-931-5481 or sign up in the church basement!  This event is free!

It’s a FEATHER PARTY at the Mt. Pleasant Veterans Hall starting with Tenderloins and Fries from 5:00pm – 7:00pm and the raffle starting at 7:30pm!  There are over 100 prizes, $2 per ticket and just in time for the Holidays… win Turkeys, Hams and Bacon! “Amarillo” will be performing for listening and dancing!  Everyone is welcome:  300 West Monroe Street in Mt. Mount Pleasant Festival of Lights Fun Run/Walk ONLY tonight and tomorrow from 5:30 pm -8:00 pm. There will be no vehicles for today and tomorrow so grab your friends, grab your kids, and through on your walking shoes after you bundle up to enjoy the beautiful lighted displays in the Old Thresher’s Campground. $5 per person, kids 4 and under are free.
