The Lockridge Easter Egg Hunt starts at 10:00am at the Lockridge Ball Field!  Children ages one through 12 are invited!

Faith Christian Outreach Church presents an Easter Egg-Stravaganza!  10:00am, 1302 East Washington Street in Mt. Pleasant!  Rain or Shine: this event is inside with free food, face painting, bouncy house, crafts and games!  All ages up to 6th grade are welcome to FCOC Egg Hunt Event!

Join Addington Place of Mt. Pleasant for their annual Community Easter Egg Hunt at 12:30pm!  Over 5,000 Easter eggs, special prizes, and baskets are up for grabs!  Children’s Activities and refreshments from Noon – 1:00pm are free and the Easter Bunny will be making an appearance!  Children under the age of 12 are invited to participate!  This event is free and open to the public!

Arbor Court of Mt. Pleasant is hosting their annual Easter Egg Hunt from 2:00pm – 4:00pm for children ages 12 and under!  Enjoy a variety of Children’s Activities with the Easter Bunny, a coloring contest, Easter Egg decorating, games, prizes and more!  The Easter Egg Hunt starts at 2:30pm!  701 E. Mapleleaf Drive and this even is free and open to the public!

New London V.F.W. Post 7641 serving a Catfish or Chicken Dinner from 5:00pm – 7:00pm.  The Catfish Dinner is $13.00 per person and The Chicken Dinner is $9.00 per person!  Dinner includes a roll & two sides (French Fries, Baked Beans and Coleslaw.)

The Friends of Conservation are hosting a banquet at the Mt. Pleasant Golf and Country Club, 2275 Hickory Avenue. Social hour begins at 5:30, a TWO meat dinner at 6:00pm! Tickets are $45 with membership and $25 with no membership, and all tickets include one raffle ticket. The deadline is March 16th. Guest speakers, games with prizes, reverse Bingo, and a live auction! The New London Dollars for Scholars is hosting an auction at 5:00pm tonight at the New London High School Gym. The event begins at 5:00pm and is a free-will offering with maid rite supper made by the New London Foods and Consumer Science Class. The chapter awards scholarships to any graduating senior or any previous graduate within the past ten years returning to post-secondary education-regardless of financial need, grade point average, or extra-curricular activities. The only requirement is that the student apply and then attend college, community college, or technical school.

The Mount Pleasant Highschool Drama Department presents “The Little Mermaid” at 7:00pm at the Heatilator Performing Arts Center in Mount Pleasant. Tickets can be purchased at the door or ahead of time at Brown’s Shoe Fit on the east side of the square.
