Join Second Baptist Ministries in Mount Pleasant for the 27th Annual Black History Celebration. A luncheon with a large variety of dishes and desserts will begin at 12:00pm and the program begins at 1:00pm and should take an hour and a half. Betty Mullin is the speaker this year. This celebration is to celebrate and help educate about the deep history. Everybody is invited to this free event.

The Oakville Christian Church and Women Promise Circle in Oakville invite you to the 34th annual Taco Supper 5:00pm – 7:30pm!  Tacos, Taco Baskets, Loose Meat Sandwiches, Desserts & Drinks are on the menu.  This event will be held at the Oakville Community Building, is a free will donation and open to the public.  All proceeds to go the Oakville Fire Department, Families in Need, and the Oakville Christian Church Women.

The Bonaparte Public Library Board of Trustees presents “Boxcar Children”, a play based on the book by Gurtrude Warner.  Doors open at 5:30pm, dinner is served at 6:00pm and the plays begins at 7:00pm  Table reservation (with the meal)  is $20, bleacher reservation is $10.
