The Mt. Pleasant Kiwanis will be serving Gourmet, Unlimited Pancakes and Coffee at the Wright Family Pavilion in McMillan Park from 6:30am – 10:15am!  Sausage patties will be included.  Only $8 for adults and $3.50 for children ages 5-12.

Come to the Greater Iowa Swap Meet and Flea Market for unique finds, antiques, collectibles, crafts, and more. With many vendors, there’s something for everyone – seasoned collectors, bargain hunters, and those just looking for a fun day out. Bring your friends and family for a memorable shopping experience. Remember to bring your shopping bags or a wagon to carry your purchases! Free admission and parking, Saturday: 7am to 2pm.

Check out the local vendors at the Mt. Pleasant Farmer’s Market from 8:30am – 11:00am in McMillian Park.  Fresh Produce, baked good, crafts and more!  Every Saturday morning and Wednesday afternoon!

The City of Lockridge is extending an invitation to honor our veterans through a Memorial Day Ceremony. Guests will meet at the community center at 07:45 and 08:00 raising of the flag at the cemetery. At the community center there will be fellowship with a great breakfast menu that includes breakfast casserole, biscuits and gravy, home baked muffins, coffee, tea, and juice. Serving starts at 08:00.  The memorial day program will begin at 08:45.

Main Street Mt. Pleasant presents “FARMHOUSE CENTRAL VINTAGE MARKET” from 9am – 3pm.  This event will take place in Mt. Pleasant’s Central Park!

The annual Bentonsport Flea Market & Craft Show is today and tomorrow from 10:00am – 5:00pm!  Located in beautiful Van Buren County, you will enjoy many product and food vendors, musicians and horses pulling a covered wagon.  You will find Bentonsport Historic District on Highway J-40 between Keosauqua and Bonaparte.

You are invited to the 100 Year Celebration of the Winfield School Building. The Winfield School District  and Winfield All School Reunion Committee is hosting an open house from 1:00-3:00pm. Here, reunion goers can expect refreshments, reminiscing, and school tours. For more information, contact the Winfield Historical Society and Museum.

The Dover Museum in New London has wedding dresses on display this month dating from 1912 to 1971.   You’ll see dresses from 3 and 4 generations of families.  The museum is open from 1:00pm – 4:00pm Saturday and Sunday.
