Donnellson has city-wide garage sales today! Pick up your map at Casey’s on Friday, June 14.

Support the Lockridge Fire and Rescue “Helmets for Heroes” breakfast from 6:00am – 10:00am. Enjoy biscuits ‘n’ gravy, sausage patties, pancakes, scrambled eggs, milk, juice, and coffee, at the Lockridge School for a freewill donation.

Friends of the Library is hosting a book sale from 7:00am – 4:00pm at Donnellson Tax and Accounting Service Parking Lot at 406 N Main Street in Donnellson. They have adult and children’s books as well as crafts, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, and more for a freewill donation.

Relay for Life team, No One Walks Alone, is hosting a garage and bake sale in Salem at the Shelter House in the City Park from 8:00am – 1:00pm to raise money for The American Cancer Society. Breakfast and lunch will be available.

The Mt. Pleasant Farmers Market offers Fresh Produce, Baked Goods and more from 8:30am – 11:00am at the Wright Family Pavilion in McMillian Park.  The Farmers Market is open and available every Saturday morning and Wednesday afternoon!

Relax in the sun during the free family float at 10:00am at the Heron Bend Conservation Area located at 2652 Highway 61 in Montrose! All equipment including life jackets, canoes, and kayaks will be provided, and naturalists will be monitoring the event. Pre-registration is required and can be completed by calling 319-463-7673 or emailing conservation@leecounty.org.

Celebrate the grand reopening of Corner Tap in West Point beginning at 11:00 a.m. There will be a free will donation fish fry at 4:00pm and proceeds will be donated to the West Point Fireworks.

Explore the Historic Harlan-Lincoln House at 101 W. Broad Street in Mt. Pleasant.  The museum features memorabilia featuring Senator James Harlan & President Abraham Lincoln.  The Harlan-Lincoln House is open Saturdays and Wednesdays 2:00pm – 4:00pm.
