The Mt. Pleasant Farmer’s Market is open this morning: 8:30am – 11:00am under the Wright Family Pavilion at McMillian Park. You will find fresh produce, baked goods, and much more!
Lockridge Fun Day from 7:00am – 2:00pm and the whole family is invited! Free will donation Breakfast & Lunch, a parade, 5K Run, Yard Games, Bingo, Car Show, and more! This event is free and details can be found on “Lockridge Fun Day” Facebook page!
Did someone say PANCAKES? Head over to the New London Shelter House from 7am – 10am for a HOT BREAKFAST, including Biscuits n Gravy, Pancakes, Eggs, Cinnamon Rolls, Breakfast Casserole, Muffins, & drinks. This breakfast is a free will donation with all proceeds going toward the Annual New London Holiday Stroll! While dining, you can enjoy the Red Flag Horseless Carriage Motor Tour!

You’ll find a fantastic mix of local vendors with everything from handmade goods and unique finds to fresh produce. It’s a great chance to support local businesses and pick up some cool items. There’s plenty for the whole family too – we’ve got a kids’ corner with bounce houses, food trucks to grab a bite, and swag bags for the first 100 people! Plus, we’re holding a 50/50 raffle to help fund Amazon wishlists for teachers. So mark your calendar, grab your friends and family, and join us for a day of shopping, eating, and community fun at the Pleasant Market!
The Cornerstone Church, 322 South D. Avenue in Washington Iowa is hosting Fall Blast from 11am – 1:00pm with lunch, games and prizes. Admission is free, and students must pre-register.

Come hear the amazing stories of Mount Pleasant’s earliest residents, portrayed by Community Theatre members in period attire. FREE – Donations appreciated.
