The Henry County Pioneer Cemetery Commission presents Pioneer Cemetery Day featuring Jefferson township Cemeteries.  This event is being held in the Events Room at the Henry County Heritage Center, 403 W. Madison Street in Mt. Pleasant starting at 2:00pm.

Gwyn McCreight is celebrating her 90th birthday at Winfield’s Twin Lakes Golf & Country Club with an open house from 2p-4p.

Twelve high school marching bands will participate in field show competition. Additionally, the Mt. Pleasant Middle School and High School Marching Bands will perform in exhibition. The event kicks off at 5:30 pm. The concession stand will be open at 5:00 pm so grab something to eat before the bands perform.
