The 78th annual Tri-State Rodeo in Ft. Madison, Iowa is around the corner – officially starting on Wednesday, September 9th and running through September 12th!  There are pre-rodeo activities starting this morning:

• Pancake Breakfast from 6:30am – 10am at the Rodeo Grounds.
• Registration for the YMCA Rodeo Stampede 5K begins at 7am.

The Midwest Old Threshers Reunion in Mt. Pleasant opens today at McMillian Park, South of Mt. Pleasant!  Tour the grounds on a steam powered train, take the trolley to the log village and enjoy re-enactments from the past, catch up with train robbers and shoot outs in the North Village, and lots of great food, antiques, tractors, and much more.  Admission for children 10 and under is free, multi-day admission is $40, and one-day admission is $15.  Grandstand Entertainment on the KILJ Stage features Tyler Farr- tonight, and Dylan Scott on Sunday.  All shows begin at 8pm and are free with paid gate admission.  For a complete list of events and daily programs, access the Old Threshers website: www.oldthreshers.org

The Mt. Pleasant Chamber of Commerce 44th annual Crafts in the Park will be held from 9am – 6pm in Central Park today through Sunday.  The event hosts over 90 vendors including artists, growers, and antiques, vintage, up-cycled items, home decor and more!

The Mt. Pleasant Farmer’s Market will be held from 8:30am-11am at the NE corner of the Walmart parking lot.
