The Mount Pleasant city compost site is open from 8 am to 5 pm on Saturdays and 1 to 6 pm on Wednesdays.  The site is located on Yocum Lane behind Saunders Park.

There is an Easter Egg Hunt at the Hillsboro City Park at 9 am.

Bring the kiddos to Mount Pleasant’s Central Park for the Main Street Easter Egg Hunt starting at 10 am.  The Easter Bunny also plans to be there.

The Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt in Mediapolis will beheld in Cartwright at 11 am.  The Easter Bunny will also be making an appearance.

Enjoy fun and games for the entire family while raising money for the U of I Dance Marathon to help families with children battling illness. From 3-8 enjoy a mini dance marathon, silent auction, bingo, bake sale, and movie at the Danville Community School in memory of Mason Roberts.

Winfield Fire & Rescue will be holding its annual pancake supper on Saturday April 9th. Freewill donation. Pancakes, sausage, and drinks will be served from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Dine in, curbside pick, in-town delivery are all available. Location: Winfield Fire Station, 110 W. Ash, Winfield, IA 52659

The Lockridge Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 9th, 2022 at the Lockridge ball field starting promptly at 10 A.M. Ages 1-12 are invited to attend. A rain date has been set for Saturday, April 16th starting at 10 A.M. at the same location.

Grab breakfast with the Easter Bunny! 7 a.m. – 10 a.m. at the New London Shelter House enjoy a hot pancake breakfast and get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny! Adults $5 Children 6 and under $3. All proceeds benefit the New London Holiday Stroll Committee.

The Cotillion Club announces the fifth dance of the 2022 schedule. Polyester Blend will play your favorites at THE LOFT in downtown Burlington, Iowa. Dance from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m., open to the public, singles welcome and we encourage you to become members for 2022-2023. Cover charge is $12.50 per person for non-members, masks optional, snack food will be served. Anyone interested in listening or dancing to live music are invited to join this not-for-profit group for an enjoyable evening of ballroom dancing.
