The Children’s Discovery Center in Mt. Pleasant is open from 10am – 12pm today!  Located at 307 E. Monroe Street, The Children’s Discovery Center is full of fun and adventure!

The Mt. Pleasant High School Music Department is proud to present the 31st annual Music in Motion show choir invitational at the high school gym, 2104 S. Grand Avenue!   MPCHS InMotion will perform 10:15 pm!

The Lockridge Fire & Rescue Department is hosting their Soup Supper and Auction from 4pm – 7pm.  Honor Guard is at 5:30pm and the Auction is at 6:00pm.  This is a free will donation event held at the Lockridge School!  Lockridge Fire and Rescue will be serving chili, oyster and chicken noodle soup, beef & noodles, relish trays, and desserts.

New London VFW post 7641 is serving their delicious Catfish & Chicken Dinner from 5p-7p tonight.  Catfish is $13 per person and Chicken is $9 per person !  Your dinner includes a roll and a choice of 2 sides: french fries, baked beans and coleslaw.

Noah’s Ark Animal Foundation, 1986 Gear Avenue in Fairfield, is hosting a low-cost Microchip & Vaccination Clinic from 11am-2pm.  The clinic is open to the public and all proceeds benefit the animals and programs of Noah’s Ark Animal Foundation. More information can be found at www.noahsark.org
