The Children’s Discovery Center at the Mt. Pleasant Public Library is open from 10am – 12pm.  The Discovery Center is located next to the library at 307 E. Monroe Street.  There is something to discover for children of all ages!  The Discovery Center will also be open on Monday from 12pm – 2pm.

It’s October and a spooky time of year!  Join Henry County Heritage Trust and the presentation of the Ghosts & Witches of Henry County.  The program begins at 2pm at the Henry County Heritage Center Museum at 403 W. Madison Street in Mt. Pleasant.  Hear about strange happenings at the Garretson Farm, in the Harlan-Lincoln House and at Mt. Pleasant’s Mental Health Institute.  Learn about the Witch of Merrimac!  The program is free and refreshments will be served!
