Easter Craft & Vendor show on April 8, 2023 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. located at the Moose Lodge in Mount Pleasant, IA! Many local crafters and vendors will be present at this event! Entry to shop is FREE as always! Come out and show all these fabulous small businesses!

Mt. Pleasant Fire Department is hosting it’s annual pancake breakfast Saturday, April 8th from 6:00AM to 10:00AM at the Mt. Pleasant Fire Department. 204 South Jackson. We will be serving pancakes, sausage, coffee, juice and milk. This year there will be a silent auction for a Traeger pellet grill. Proceeds will be going towards electric vehicle safety equipment.  Cost is free will donation.

Des Moines County Conservation will be hosting a Spring Scavenger Hunt from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. This event will take place at Starr’s Cave Park and Preserve. Participants will be given a list of items to find throughout the park. There is no fee or registration required for this event, just come to the nature center to receive your list.
