WACO graduation is today.

St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and Cross -Fit Teo are hosting a 5K Fun Run/Walk for the Iowa Arthritis Foundation.  At 8:30 am.There is also a one mile run and walk.  The starting point is the Church parking lot on Front Street near St. Alphonsus in Mount Pleasant. Food trucks are available before, during and after the run.

The Mount Pleasant City Compost site is open every Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm and on Wednesday from 1 to 6 pm. The site is located at the intersection of Hoaglin Drive and Yocum Lane.

The Mount Pleasant Saturday Farmers Market will be held from 8:30 to 11 am at Wright Pavilion in McMillan Park.

The Henry County Heritage Center Museum and the adjacent Van Allen House are open every Saturday from 1 to 4 pm.

The Dover Museum, chapel and depot in New London are open everyone Saturday and Sunday thru October from 1 to 4 pm.

Stockport, Iowa’s Spring Fun Day will feature a car show on Main Street from 8 am to noon.  Awards will be presented at 2:30 pm.  The Backyard Cook-Off starts at 9 am with judging at 2:30 and 3 pm.

Ladies for Charity Rummage Sale from 9 am to 5 pm at St. Alphonsus Manning Hall, 607 South Jackson in Mount Pleasant. Free will donation!
