Crawfordsville Fun Days celebration continues with the firemen’s breakfast starting at 6 am, parade at 10 am and the Lion’s Club lunch from 11 am to 1 pm..There will be a water fight, pony rides, face painting and an antique car and tractor show.

There’s a free lily tour from 7 to 11 am at 1015 250th Street, Lockridge.  This is 5 miles from Oakland Mills.  There will be approximately 400 lilies and daylilies of all colors available to view.

The Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra presents Symphonic Blast!  The concert will take place at the bandshell in Crapo(kray-po)  Park in Burlington at 8:00 PM. Bring your lawn chairs, beverages and bug spray to enjoy the light classical music and amazing fireworks on the bluff
of the Mississippi River. In case of rain the concert will be held at the Iowa Wesleyan Chapel auditorium in Mt. Pleasant at 8:00 pm.

New London VFW serves dinner from 5 to 7:30 pm.  A ham steak is $10 and ribeye steak dinner is $18.  It includes a baked potato, salad and dinner roll.
