The Mount Pleasant Compost site is open for the season Saturdays from 8 am to 5 pm and Wednesdays 1 pm to 6 pm.  The site is located behind Saunders Park at the end of Yocum Lane and Hoaglin Drive.

The annual Fairfield Shrine Club pancake breakfast  will be held from 6am till 10 am at the VFW, 121 East Broadway in Fairfield. Dine in or carry out. All you care to eat. Adults $6.00 kids 12 and under free. Pancakes,sausage,biscuits and sausage gravy,coffee,milk,juice. Masks and social distancing are appreciated.

The annual Mount Pleasant Christian School Auction begins at 9:02 am at the school located on East Washington Street.

Main Street Mount Pleasant’s Sip and Shop is in downtown Mount Pleasant from 10 to 3.  There will be pop-up vendors, coffee and wine and endless shopping and great restaurants.

The Mt. Pleasant High School drama department presents “Arsenic & Old Lace” at 7 pm in the Heatilator Performing Arts Center.  There is another performance April 18 at 2 pm. Tickets are available at the door.
