The Mount Pleasant City compost site is open for the season Saturdays from 8 am to 5 pm and Wednesdays from 1 to 6 pm.  The site is located southwest of Saunders Park at the intersection of Yocum Lane and Hoaglin Drive.

The Oakland Mills Nature Center is open Saturday mornings from 9 am to noon. Weekday appointments can be made by call 319-986-5067.

There will be two Iowa Wesleyan University Commencement ceremonies at 1 pm and 3 pm. Hear both on KILJ FM 105.5 and livestream on KILJ.com
