Celebrate Healthcare Heroes Day at the ballpark this afternoon!  The Burlington Bees face the Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp at 2:00pm.  For tickets and information, go to www.GOBEES.com!  “Get Stung by the FUN!”

The 4th summer concert of the Burlington Municipal Band will be conducted by Mt. Pleasant Middle School Band Director Adam Creager.  The concert starts at 7:30 PM at the Crapo Park bandshell.  This concert is free and open to the public!  Since Madison Avenue in Burlington is being repaved, you are advised to take Summer Street to Parkway to get to Crapo Park.  Bring a lawn chair or sit on provided benches.  In case of rain, the concert will move to the James Madison auditorium at 2132 Madison Avenue.

The Dover Museum in New London invites to a performance this afternoon entitled: “How Did a Boy from NEW YORK CITY end up in NEW LONDON, Iowa?”  Annette Hanenberger will be presenting at 1:30pm.
