St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Franklin, Iowa invites you for an ICE CREAM SOCIAL from 4:00pm – 6:00pm.  Not only will they be serving 3 flavors of Homemade Ice Cream, the menu includes Beef Burger Sandwiches, Pie, Cake and Drinks.  You’ll find St. Peter’s on 4th Street at Exchange in Franklin!

The conductor for this week’s concert of the Burlington Municipal Band will be retired New London band director Ron Coberley.  The Sunday June 30 concert will be at the Crapo Park bandshell at 7:30 PM.  Like all of the Muni Band’s concerts, it will be family-friendly and free of charge.  Bring a lawn chair or a blanket or sit on provided benches.  Because of street repaving on Madison Avenue, we suggest reaching Crapo Park via Summer Street to Parkway Street.  In case of rain, the concert will move to the James Madison auditorium at 2132 Madison Avenue.
