All are welcome to the Palm Sunday service at Danville Methodist Church, 201 S. Main Street in Danville.  The service begins at 10am.

Rome Days Pasta Supper is from 4:30pm – 7pm at the SOS Restaurant, 205 S. 3rd Street in Rome!  Enjoy Spaghetti or Lasagna and carry out is available by calling 319-931-8240!  This dinner is a Free Will Donation!

The Mt. Pleasant High School Dessert Theatre Performance is at 2pm and includes the Middle School Show Choir and Jazz Band along with lots of great talent from Mt. Pleasant High School students.  Tickets are $15 for a reserved table seat and dessert.  Bleacher seats are also available.

The Remnant Church at 100 E. Webster Street in Mt. Pleasant is hosting a Seder Meal this Thursday and today is the last day to RSVP.  The meal will be served at 6pm in the Fellowship Hall.  Please RSVP by calling 319-385-4920.

Southeast Iowa’s premier vocal ensemble, the Bel Canto Chorale, will close their 55th season with their Spring Concert at 2:00pm at First United Methodist Church in downtown Burlington. Falling on Palm Sunday, the concert will feature a few selections appropriate for Holy Week.  Listen to soloists and enjoy both accompanied and a cappella works.  Tickets are $8 at the door/students and children are free.

Danville Community Palm Sunday Services will be held at 6:30pm at the First Baptist Church, 302 S Main, in Danville with Pastor Jacob Yocum of Danville Methodist speaking. The community Palm Sunday Service is a joint service involving the 5 area churches- First Baptist, Faith Baptist, Congregational UCC, Danville Methodist and Long Creek United Methodist. An offering will go to the Danville Food Outreach. Everyone is welcome.
