The St. Alphonsus Catholic Church at 607 S. Jackson St. in Mt. Pleasant is hosting their annual Autumn Festival and Auction!  The famous Roast Beef Dinner will be served from 10:30am – 1pm ($15 11 years-adult, $9 ages 6-10, 5 & under are free).  Carry out is available with plenty of seating in Manning Hall and under a tent outside.  The Silent Auction will go until 12:30pm and then the live auction starts!  St. Alphonsus has the Quilt Raffle and Country Corner.  Mass time is at 10:30am!

The West Point Farmer’s Market is open from 9am – 1pm and the theme is “Art in the Park”!  Join in the fun with fresh, in season produce, Soul Studio at 1pm, Fat Jimmy’s, sidewalk chalk contest, and there is Canvas Painting for the Kiddie Korner.

The Moose Lodge in Mt. Pleasant will serve breakfast from 9:00am -12:00pm. Choices include: eggs, sausage or bacon, pancakes or waffles, hash brown & biscuits & gravy. You order it, we will cook it up!

The Dover Museum in New London is open from 1pm – 4pm with a presentation today on Scale Models.  Join Seth Eberhardt at 1:30pm. One special display will be the Mediapolis Rock Island Depot and this program will be interesting for all ages! The Dover Museum is open every Saturday and Sunday afternoon from 1pm – 4pm.

The Swedesburg Evangelical Lutheran Church invites you to an Orgelmusik Concert starting at 3pm.  This free concert features music by artist Ryan Frederick and is being held at the church, 1897 140th Street in Mt. Pleasant.  A freewill donation will be accepted.

Player’s Workshop, 1431 Grove St. in Burlington, opens the theatrical season with the musical farce “Something Rotten”! Performance today is at 2pm.  “Something Rotten” has a PG-13 rating, and the biggest celebrity in England is a playwright named William Shakespeare! The performance continues every weekend through October 5th.
