The Mt. Pleasant Goodwill Store, 700 N. Grand Avenue, features a Costume Party with treats and fun for everyone!  Trunk or Treat from 6pm – 8pm!

The Winfield Mt. Union PTO is hosting a Trunk or Treat from 4:30pm – 6pm at the Winfield Presbyterian Church, 302 S. Locust Street.  Bring the whole family and join in a “spook-tacular” night of fun!  Walk from trunk to trunk showing off your costume, collecting treats, and enjoy a safe, fun, and community Halloween celebration.

Mt. Pleasant’s Becky Wright will hold a conversation about Civil War Era Quilts at the Dover Museum in New London, Iowa at 1:30pm.  Becky is a master quilter and will be presenting her collection of quilts for the program.  This event is free and open to the public.  The Dover Museum is at 213 W. Main Street in New London.

The Danville Booster Club is hosting a Harvest Moon Run on Saturday November 15th! Bel Canto Chorale Fall Concert – 2PM Southeast Iowa’s premier vocal ensemble, the Bel Canto Chorale, will open their 56th season with their Fall Concert at First United Methodist Church in downtown Burlington. This season features the various genres that define distinctively American repertoire.   Tickets are available at the door. Adults – $8 / Students of all ages – FREE.

Appleberry Orchard presents the 11th Annual Cider Run Car Show from 11am – 4pm in the Orchard – 2469 Hwy 2, Donnellson, Iowa!  Cars, Bikes, Rat Rods, Trucks & Tractors are all welcome and there are no entry fees!  (No pets allowed on the grounds.)  Food & drinks will be available including the Appleberry Orchard’s famous Apple Cider Donuts & Slushies!
