The Swedesburg Evangelical Churchmen are hosting a pancake breakfast from 7am – 9:30am at the Parish Hall, 201 Academy Avenue!  The Menu includes pancakes, sausage, eggs, juice, and coffee.  The breakfast is a free-will offering to support local efforts to help alleviate world hunger through “Growing HOPE Globally”.

New London’s VFW Post 7641 Auxiliary is hosting their annual Brunch to honor area Veterans.  The brunch is from 10:30am – 1pm at 802 E. McKinley in New London.  Enjoy biscuits & gravy, egg casseroles, grilled pork tenderloin, cheesy potatoes, coffee cakes, treats, fruit, and more!  This meal is a free will donation with all proceeds going to the Blue Star Mother’s Organization for postage to ship Christmas Care packages to deployed Iowa military.  A salute to Veterans Program will begin at 12pm and is presented by VFW Post 7641 and the Auxiliary.
