The 25th Annual Tri-T Tour of Homes is from 1pm – 4pm!  Enjoy the beautiful homes and decorations for the holiday season! The Churches of the Trenton Iowa community –  Green Mound Church of God, Trenton Missionary, and Trenton United Methodist—invite you to join in a time of praise and thanksgiving during the annual Community Thanksgiving service at 6:30pm.  The service will be held at Green Mound Church of God, a mile W of Trenton on the Merrimac Road.  Plan on seasonal hymns, an inspirational message, with refreshments and fellowship to follow.  The facility is accessible.  Offering received will be divided between the Fellowship Cup and the Tolson Center to share with neighbors.  All are welcome.

The Mt. Pleasant Festival of Lights, south of town at the Old Thresher’s Campgrounds is a two-mile drive-thru holiday light park!  But first, all are invited to the Holiday Light Stroll from 5:30pm – 8pm!  Walk through Holiday Magic and see over 180 displays up close for just $5/person – ages 4 and under are free.  No Vehicles! Danville area churches invite everyone to the annual Danville Community Thanksgiving Service at 6:30pm!  The host church this year is Danville Methodist Church at 201 S. Main Street in Danville.  Carl Vass of the Danville Congregational UCC Church will deliver the message and the choir will perform.  A special offering will go towards the Danville Food Outreach which provides Thanksgiving bags to area residents, and Christmas vacation food bags to Danville school families.

Monday and Tuesday this week is Free Leaf Collection for residents  in Mt. Pleasant.   For residents north of Washington Street, collection day is Monday, November 24th and for those south of Washington Street, collection day is Tuesday, November 25th.  All leaves must be bagged and on the curb by 7am.
