The Greater Jefferson County Fair continues.  Here are some of the highlights:

  Followed By Fireworks 

The fourth summer concert of the Burlington Municipal Band will be on Sunday  7:30 PM at the Crapo Park bandshell.  Retired New London band director Ron Coberley will conduct.  Highlights of the concert will include medleys of hits by Queen and George Gershwin, classic march music, a familiar tune by Leroy Anderson and a moving musical tribute to the life of John F. Kennedy.  The family-friendly concerts are free of charge.  Bring a lawn chair or blanket or sit on provided benches.  In case of rain the concert will move to the James Madison Education Center auditorium at 2132 Madison Avenue.
