The VFW Post in New London will open its’ bar at 10 for complimentary Tom & Jerrys. Corned beef and cabbage will be served at noon until gone.  A free will donation will be accepted for Post upkeep and for New London High School scholarships. The public is welcome.

Mount Pleasant City offices are closed Monday, January 2 in observance of New Years.  Trash pickup is one day later.

The Henry County Treasurer’s office is closed Monday, January 2 and will open for business January 3 at 8 am.
