DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME!! Check your clocks because we have fallen back and gained an hour!
All Iowa Wesleyan campus buildings, including Hershey Hall, will be open to the public with the following exceptions: Old gym, Nemitz suites, Harlan-Lincoln House. From 11am-3pm, these buildings will be open to allow the community to do one final walkthrough. This is strictly an open house, so citizens are able to take photos, but no items may be taken. The library will not be open today, so make to go there on Friday or Saturday if you’d like to view it one final time.
VFW Post 7641 Auxiliary will host a Veterans Brunch from 10:30 am-1 pm at 802 East McKinley in New London. A free will donation will be taken for an area Veterans project. Menu includes grilled pork loin, cheesy potatoes, green beans, egg casseroles, pastries, fruit & biscuits and gravy.

Join Three Rivers Conservation Foundation for their annual Chicken Dinner Fundraiser at the Charleston Board of Trade 3:30 to 7:00 p.m. They will be offering both dine in and curbside pick-up! The cost is $15, which includes dinner and a soft drink. Tickets are available now at the Lee County Conservation Center! All proceeds benefit Three Rivers Conservation Foundation – a local 501(c)3 non-profit group, that strives to support the mission of the Lee County Conservation Board.

The Loynachans will be at Wesley Chapel Sunday, November 5. The congregation will offer supper at 5:30, with the concert to follow at 7:00. A free will offering will be received. Wesley Chapel is located at 2151 200th St, Mt Pleasant. The facility is accessible with plenty of free parking. All are welcome!
