The City of Mt. Pleasant is celebrating the 4th of July at McMillan Park!
- 5:00pm: the PARADE!

- 5:30pm – Dusk: Free Trolley Rides, Carousel Rides, Bouncy Houses, and Face Painting
- at Dark: FIREWORKS!
- FOOD OPTIONS: available at Wright Family Pavilion including meals by the Henry County Cattlemen.

Join in the fun for 4th of July in Wayland, Iowa!
- BREAKFAST: the Lion’s Club is serving pancakes and all the fixins’ from 6:30am-9:30am in the Wayland Community Center, and it’s a freewill donation!
- PARADE: 10:30am down Main Street.
- LUNCH: hosted by the Basketball Teams from 11:00am – 1:00pm at WACO High School (dine-in or carry-out).
- FIREFIGHTER WATER GAMES: for the kids following the parade on Main Street!
- FIREWORKS: at dusk at the WACO Football Field!
Participate in or volunteer for Donnellson’s annual Tunnel to Towers 5K Run/Walk at 616 N. Main St starting at the Donnellson Fire Department at 7:30am. Participation costs $40 for civilian adults, $35 for first responders and military, $25 for children ages 13-17, and $15 for anyone 12 and under. Donnellson is also hosting its annual 4th of July parade at 10:30am. The parade will start on Highway 218 from a block north of Highway 2.
Get fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, eggs, plants, and more at the Donnellson Farmer’s Market every Thursday until August 29 from 4:30pm-6:30pm at Railroad Park!

The Mount Pleasant Golf & Country Club is having a party for the Fourth of July! The Clubhouse opens at 4 p.m., food is served from 5-7 p.m., Bingo at 5 p.m., Water Balloon Fight at 6:30 p.m., and Fireworks at dusk. Don’t miss out on corn hole, music, bubble wands, glow sticks, raffles, and bike raffles throughout the night as well! Open to the public and CASH ONLY.
