The Winfield Lions are sponsoring a Halloween Costume Contest tonight at 4:45 with judging taking place at 5:00pm at the Winfield Weenie Roast on Main Street. In case of inclement weather this will be held in the Winfield Legion Hall.
There will be prizes given in 5 different categories:
1) ages 0 to 5
2) ages 6 to 10
3) ages 11 to 18
4) adults
5) themed groups of 3 or more.

The Burlington Police Department is hosting a Halloween event at Memorial Auditorium, 200 N. Front Street in Burlington!  This even is from 6:00pm – 8:00pm and is FREE!

Jefferson County Extension is hosting a Grant Writing 101 workshop on Wednesday, November 6 from 6-9 PM at the Jefferson County Extension Office. Registration is just $10 and a meal is included.
