Friends of Henry County Health Center is partnering with “Shut Your Pie Hole Cheesecakes” in New London! Cheesecakes will be available at the HCHC Gift Shop on the first Thursday of every month!  Shop the First Thursday of the month Sale, and pick up a cheesecake!  Currently, apparel at the gift shop is 50% off and local products are for sale. You will find the gift shop inside the entrance to the hospital at 407 S. White Street in Mt. Pleasant.

The Mt. Pleasant Public Library presents Iowa Author and Speaker, Linda Betsinger McCann at 5pm in the Civic Center Meeting Room.  McCann is the author of “Rosie The Riveters of Iowa”.  This book features the impact Iowa women had and their contributions to the war effort.  The library is located at 307 E. Monroe Street.

The Church of God Chapel Food Bank is open at 6pm at 217 West Washington St. in Mt. Pleasant.  Admission is free and more information is available on the Cornerstone Church Facebook page.
