The Mt. Pleasant Community Band will present a free concert in Mt. Pleasant’s Central Park starting at 7pm.  Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the music!  The PEO Sisters will be serving pie for a free will donation.

The Theatre Museum Repertoire Americana is open today from 10am – 4pm (closed 12-12:30pm for lunch)! The museum is dedicated to the preservation of memorabilia and artifacts of early repertoire theatre. The collection includes painted curtains and scenic pieces; costumes and equipment; playbills, show cards, advertising sheets, and so much more!   The museum is located on the Old Threshers grounds at 405 Thresher Road and is open weekly Thursday – Saturday through Labor Day.

The Greater Jefferson County Fair features the 5th annual Dirt Drags tonight! Gates open at 5pm, racing starts at 7pm in the Grandstand!  Admission is $10, ages 6-11/$5, under age 5-free.  Pit admission is $20!
