Main Street Mt. Pleasant’s “Witch Way to Main” is a family friendly Halloween event starting off in Central park from 4:30pm – 6:30pm!  Trick or Treat at over 40 Mt. Pleasant businesses!  There will be games, activities, and of course costumes!  Fun and Festivities for all ages in downtown Mt. Pleasant.

Savannah Heights Care Center invites you to Trick or Treat Night from 4:30p – 6:30p at 601 S. Prairie St. in Mt. Pleasant!  Come in, show off costumes and get treats and goodies from staff and residents!

Wayland Main Street Trick or Treat is from 5p -6:30p this evening in Wayland, Iowa!  Have fun trick or treat along Main Street, and find the Henry County Sheriff’s Deputies for “snickers & stickers”!

The Harlan-Lincoln House is hosting a presentation by Laura Keyes of Historic Voices at 7pm in the Union Block Building, downtown Mt. Pleasant.  Keyes will portray Mary Todd Lincoln as she prepares to accompany her husband to the theatre on that fateful April 14, 1865 evening.  Donations are welcome.

Tri-T Chapter DD is holding a Winter Coat Drive through Friday, November 7th!  Please consider donating new or gently used coats, hats, mittens or gloves!  Convenient drop-off locations for these items include the Hy Vee Food Store on Washington Street, the Coffee Depot at 402 N. Adams Street in Mt. Pleasant, and the Old Threshers Reunion business office at McMillan Park.
