Join Addington Place of Mount Pleasant for the 6th and final Lunch For A Cause of 2022 from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. Serving Turkey Tetrazzini, Garlic Bread, Green Peas, and an Apple Turnover via carry out order or delivery. The meal will be $7.00 per order and all proceeds earned will benefit the P.E.O. Chapter OX, which will help fund their scholarship that goes to a Henry County resident that will attend Iowa Wesleyan University! Hike A Park Denning Conservation Area (Lee County) will start on Thursday November 17th to introduce visitors to different county parks. The hike will begin at 3:00pm and will be about an hour long. This hike will be meeting at Denning Conservation Area and will be led by Clay, the Lee County naturalist. There is no fee to join the hike, and no registration is required. Participants may leave at any time. There is no fee for this program.

The New London Christian Church is hosting “Grief Share…Surviving the Holidays” Sunday, November 20 from 3 to 5 pm at the Church at 2770 New London Road, room 105. There will be a video as well as a question and answer session.  This is open to anyone who may be experiencing a change in holiday traditions and gatherings, especially for the first time.
