Senator Chuck Grassley’s regional director will be at the Fairfield City Hall in the Council Chambers from 9 am to 10 am and at the Mount Pleasant City Hall from noon to 1 pm. This is an opportunity for Iowans to seek assistance regarding a personal issue with a federal agency or wishing to share views on matters of federal policy.

Welcome to Pleasantville!  Mount Pleasant’s Annual Holiday on Main begins with the Holiday Parade at 5 pm featuring the Grand Marshals, Jim and Marlene DePriest.  Santa will be in his house from 6 to 7:30 pm.  There will be horse and carraige rides, roasted chestnuts, smores station and Mrs. Clause will be reading stories.  There will be cookie decorating and letters to Santa plus the Grinch and Cindy Loo Who photos.

Mount Pleasant music students are reminded that Fruit sale pickup is this Saturday, December 3rd, from 8am-11am at Wilson Distribution (105 N. McCoy—MtP).  THIS IS THE ONLY DATE/TIME FOR STUDENTS TO PICK UP THEIR FRUIT SALE ORDERS, SO PLEASE MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO DO SO! If students have questions/need more specific directions/map for pickup, they should talk to their band instructor.
