CAMP OAKLAND Summer Camp 2023. Oakland Mills Park, Henry County Conservation Department. Stay overnight in a tent, canoe, play games, try archery, and so much more! Eat supper before you come. An evening snack and breakfast is included. Sleeping arrangements will be divided according to gender. Bring an extra set of clothes, towel, sleeping bag, pillow, and a chair or blanket to sit on outside. Children must be able to sleep overnight in a tent with an adult nearby, but not in the same tent. Ages 9+. Limit 12. $36 per child. Register HERE!

The Winfield Community Vacation Bible School (VBS) is excited to bring Keepers of the Kingdom to the United Methodist Church July 17th through July 20th. Keepers of the Kingdom VBS is for kids from Kindergarten though 5th grade. Each evening will kick-off with supper served at 5:30pm, followed by VBS from 6:00 to 8:00pm. More info HERE!

The Colors of Summer at the Henry County Health Center main lobby from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. This is the opening night reception with appetizers, refreshments, and an evening of arts and culture that benefit the Friends of HCHC. Featuring local artists where some pieces will be for sale. Art will remain on display until August 3rd. Proceeds from sale commissions will benefit the Friends of HCHC Scholarship Fund and other programming.

Mount Pleasant Childcare Center NEEDS SUMMER DONATIONS! Cardboard boxes, bamboo or wood skewers, kid scissors, box milk cartons, glue (any type), popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners (all colors), paint, paint brushes, and sunscreen for all ages. Donations can be dropped at the center, 304 West Washington Street in Mount Pleasant.
