The Mount Pleasant Library’s Children’s Discovery Center is open from noon to 2 p.m. today.

The Knoxville Cancer Relay will grow bigger and better than ever for its 10th annual run Sept. 14-16. The KRC team will cover far more miles, spanning Iowa from Muscatine to Council Bluffs as it shatters fund-raising records. The relay kicks off in Muscatine at 10 p.m. on Sept. 14, and local runners and spectators are invited to run or support the team. The 12-person team pass through Columbus Junction on Highway 92 around 1:30 a.m. on Sept. 15. Visit Knoxville Cancer Relay on Facebook to discover more about ways to get involved. Donors can learn how to support runners or dedicate signs in honor of loved ones. Runners can join the statewide team anywhere along the route.
