The Mt. Pleasant Community School District Book Fair at Harlan, Lincoln, Salem, and Van Allen Elementary buildings and at the Middle School is open from 8:00am – 8:00pm today!  Proceeds from the Book Gairs go toward the purchase of new books for each of the buildings and books make great gifts!  Everyone is invited to shop for their favorite reader & support the MPCSD Libraries at the same time!

The November FIRST THURSDAY SALE at the Friends of Henry County Health Center Gift Shop today, 407 S. White Street in Mt. Pleasant!  25% off one item!  Stop by 9:00am – 3:oopm!  Christmas decor will be out!

The Olds United Church of Christ Harvest Supper will begin at 5:30 pm with “Carry Out” only. The menu includes turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, green beans, roll and pie.  There are no tickets, it is a free will donation and all proceeds will be used for community outreach.

Fairfield Area Community Theatre presents a Dessert Show featuring- “THE THANKSGIVING PLAY” written by Larissa Fasthorse.  The show begins at 7:00pm at the Walton Club, 2265 Walton Lake Road in Fairfield.  Tickets are $20 and be purchased at Adela’s or at the door.  This play runs through Saturday this weekend and next weekend November 10-12!
