The Mt. Pleasant Kiwanis and Addington Place of Mt. Pleasant invite you to Lunch For A Cause from 11:30am – 1:00pm.  A lunch plate is $10 per person.  Your donations will help support the MP Kiwanis’ Tree of Lights program which provides essential items for Mt. Pleasant families in need.

Taco Tuesday at the Mount Pleasant Christian School from 5-6:30 p.m. 10″ softshell tacos (beef or chicken), chips & homemade salsa, walking tacos, super nachos, pop & water. Dine in or to-go at 1505 East Washington Street in Mount Pleasant, 319-385-8613.  All proceeds will go to the Junior-Senior Banquet in the Spring and the High Schoolers will be serving up the tacos!

It’s always Taco Tuesday at The Moose Lodge. Serving tacos, walking tacos & taco salads from 5:00 – 7:00. Toppings include cheese, lettuce, sour creme, salsa, Jalapenos peppers, onions, tomatoes, chips on walking tacos & then for another $1 you can have extra meat. You select what you want. Smorgasbord tickets are still available from the Swedesburg Lutheran church office Tuesday through Friday! The smorgasbord is on Thursday, December 5. Seating times are 5, 6 or 7 p.m. Tickets cost $20. Advance tickets are required. The church office gladly accepts exact cash or checks.
