Lockridge Fire and Rescue is hosting a blood drive from 3:30 to 7:30 pm at the Lockridge School.

Taco Tuesday at the Mount Pleasant Christian School will be held from 5 to 6:30 pm serving beef or chicken tacos, walking tacos, super nachos, chips and salsa, pop and water.  There is also a black bean vegetarian option. Dine in or order to go at 385-8613. The school is located at 1505 East Washington Street. It’s Teacher Appreciation Night and this Taco Tuesday is a fundraiser for the teachers.

Criss Roberts, owner of White Pines Flower Farm in Ainsworth, will go over the basics of seed starting and succession planting at the next meeting of the Washington County Master Gardeners, at the Extension Building meeting room. The Master Gardner group will have a short business meeting beginning at 6:00 pm, followed by the program at 6:30. The program is free and open to the public. All are welcome!
