The Mt. Pleasant School District invites to you “Meet the Players” night at Mapleleaf Athletic Complex starting at 6:30pm!  Panther cheerleaders, players, managers, and coaches will be introduced – the cheerleaders will perform at 6:50pm with a football team scrimmage scheduled for 7pm (immediately following introductions.)  The MP Athletic Boosters will be on hand with the concession standing opening at 6pm.

Lockridge Fire & Rescue is hosting a Blood Drive from 3;30p – 7:30p!  The blood drive is held at the Old Lockridge School; 103 S. Center Street.

Salem Old Settlers is coming up this weekend, August 22 – August 24th at the Park in Salem, Iowa!  Advance carnival tickets for Joe’s Old Fashioned Fun Carnival are on sale at Kramer’s for a huge discount.  You can purchase advance tickets until 4:45pm on Friday, August 22nd.  Also, be sure to register for the Bags Tournament!  $20/team and you can call Heidi at 319-931-9741 for details.
