Friends of the Harlan-Lincoln House present “Folk Cottages of Southeast Iowa” with Paul Larson at noon in the Howe Student Activity Center Social Hall.  This week’s Brown Bag Lecture is free and open to the public.  Bring your lunch.

Taco Tuesday at the Mount Pleasant Christian School will be held from 5 to 6:30 pm serving beef or chicken tacos, walking tacos, super nachos, chips and salsa, pop and water.  There is also a black bean vegetarian option. Dine in or order to go at 385-8613. The school is located at 1505 East Washington Street.

Due to the weather, the Henry County Conservation Department has decided to cancel the maple syrup program that was scheduled for this evening.
