The Mount Pleasant Christian School is serving Tacos from 5 to 6:30 pm at the school on East Washington Street. Dine in or to go. Call 319-385-8613 to order pickup. Soft shell beef or chicken tacos. Fried or not. Walking tacos, chips and homemade salsa also available. This week the student council is serving in order to raise funds for school activities. There will also be live Christian music featuring the First Assembly of God Church worship band.

The Mount Pleasant Moose Lodge, at 108 N. Saunders, is serving tacos from 5 to 7 pm.

The Henry County Extension office is hosting a Farm Owners and Operators meeting December 5 from 8 am to 12:30 pm. Today is the deadline to register by contacting the office at 319-385-8126.  The registration fee is $40 per person.
