ISU Extension and Outreach Lee County is hosting their annual Forestry Field Day at Lake Lacey-Keosauqua State Park today!

Oakland Mills Nature Center from 6-7:30 p.m. Iowa is home to many creatures that go bump in the night. Learn why there is nothing to be afraid of with Scooby and the gang! Walk around the park on a scavenger hunt style hike searching for “monsters to unmask”. You will even get to walk across the swinging bridge! Once you have found them all, head to the nature center to receive a prize for your bravery. Afterwards, tour the building and see what other cool animals and plants call Iowa home or head outside and watch a movie on the big screen. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on and a flashlight. This evening’s events are educational and fun- not scary. All ages are welcome with a participating adult. This program is weather dependent. Preregistration is appreciated but not necessary.
