Circle Square B Promenaders square dance club is starting a 12 week series of Modern Western Square dance  lessons for beginning individuals wishing to learn to square dance.  The first evening will be Tuesday September 14th.  The first lesson will start at 7:00pm.  The club dances in the IOOF hall in Wever, Iowa.  Children over 8 to seniors are welcome.  Singles or couples can participate.  No experience or special attire is needed.  Just wear comfortable shoes and come to have a good time.  The first evening is FREE for new dancers.  For more information call Richard and Pat Millmier @ 319-835-5382 or email to richpatmill@gmail.com

Main Street Mount Pleasant’s Pizza Wars runs from 4:30 to 6:30 pm in Central Park.  Cost is $5.  Sample competing area pizza restaurants and then vote for your favorite.

Mount Pleasant Christian School starts Taco Tuesday up for the season.  They are serving from 5 to 6:30 pm at the school, located at 1505 East Washington.  They are serving 10″ tacos beef or chicken.  Walking tacos, super nachos, chips and salsa, soda and water.  Blacks beans are available for a vegetarian option.
